Shawn grew up in Salem, NH, where he first started with his father in the construction industry. He started off refurbishing Victorian homes with the family business.

Shawn was a division 1 wrestler at the University of Edinboro Pennsylvania. He moved to Florida in 2014. He enjoys fishing and hiking in his spare time
